News is not meant to be 'good' or 'bad'. It's meant to be accurate and truthful. You talk about putting a positive 'spin' on the news to real-life situations that people are going through that are difficult. You've also put on Facebook a story about life under the Shah of Iran which completely sidesteps the fact that Mohammed Mossadegh was assassinated by MI6 and the CIA because he nationalised Iran's oil, and the Shah was put there as a Western 'ally'. It's also sidestepped why he was overthrown: while he did pursue 'modernisation', he restricted political freedoms, relied on the notorious SAVAK secret police for suppression, and consolidated absolute power, creating severe inequality. I'm sorry, but we are living in very challenging times and disavowing reality and posting stories without nuance is not the way to go. If you want a real 'good news' story that speaks to the strength of the human spirit, I invite you to post this: https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20260413-university-city-emerges-in-khan-younis-to-revive-education-in-gaza/
