What happened today.
THIS IS ALEX — the man Trump’s troops MURDERED today. While a lot of focus is on his execution, and rightfully so, let’s take a moment to honor his life…
Alex was one of us ❤️🩹 He grew up in Green Bay. He was an honor roll student at Preble High School, where he played football, baseball, ran track, and was a Boy Scout.
He worked as a research scientist before returning to school to become a registered nurse.
He committed his life to making the world a better place — the Wisconsin way.
We’re lucky to call a hero like Alex one of our own 🧀
“Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA,” Dr. Dimitri Drekonja told the Minneapolis paper. “We hired him to recruit for our trial.”
“He became an ICU nurse — I loved working with him. Later, Alex moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill veterans. He had such a great attitude. We'd chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now.”
At this point, we shouldn’t be surprised, but too many people — including the sitting president — are spreading lies about Alex.
His family is BEGGING them to stop.
Please defer to THEIR words about THEIR son — not the lies being told to you by our dictator and his spineless cult members.
As Alex’s parents said: “Alex wanted to make a difference in the world. Unfortunately, he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the ‘hero’ term lightly. However, his last thought and act was to protect a woman.”
Finally: “Please get the truth out about our son. He was a GOOD MAN.”
VERY IMPORTANT 🚨 Alex Pretti WAS carrying a gun (legally) — but ICE officers took it from him BEFORE they murdered him.

Alex was unarmed BEFORE Trump’s agents shot him 10 times.

How bad at your job do you have to be… NO — how completely inhuman do you have to be to shoot an unarmed man who is laying on the ground TEN TIMES?!
Trump’s agents are murderers, and the president himself is completely complicit.
HE sent them there.
AND, he continues to call Alex Pretti — the unarmed, peaceful protester who died trying to help another woman — a “domestic terrorist.”
Donald Trump is the domestic terrorist.
They even share the same initials, DT.
Speaking of DT: The president’s rambling response to his agents murdering another American doesn’t deserve attention — EXCEPT for this part:
1. Why is he blaming the victim for carrying a gun in a state that allows open carry?
2. Why is he blaming local police for not protecting federal officers? His agents are that incompetent?
3. When will he EVER take ANY accountability?
None of this would’ve happened if Trump wasn’t president.
GOOD ALWAYS WINS ❤️🩹 Here’s the hopeful news: IMMEDIATELY after ICE murdered Alex, fellow protesters gathered to honor him — building a makeshift memorial in minutes.

“I sheltered in a local pub for a while where Alex was a beloved regular. The resounding message was please go back and tell people what you saw. Tell people what is really happening here. And what’s happening is horrific. It is the most inhumane occupation happening in a city of beloved people who are doing everything they can to sustain one another.”
